I blend my passion for reading fiction with professional expertise. I hold certificates for proofreading and copyediting through the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and the College of Media and Publishing (CMP).
I’m an Intermediate Member of the CIEP and am bound by its Professional Practice Code. I’m familiar with The Chicago Manual of Style and the Oxford Style Manual. I also offer a detailed service agreement, so you know exactly what you are getting when you work with me.
I’m originally from the USA (the Midwest) and have been living in the UK for ten years. This has given me a unique ability to understand the nuances between American and British English. I’m able to work with either variation.
